Bretton Woods NJ Wedding Photography {Julie & Erik}

first look, wedding

 Bretton Woods NJ Wedding by Veroluce Photography

After a 3 week delay of their big day due to Hurricane Sandy, Julie & Erik finally had their perfect  fall New Jersey wedding day.  It was a gorgeous Bretton Woods NJ Wedding.  The sun was shining, the weather was crisp and love was definitely in the air.  While my partner David was busy at the Hanover Marriott photographing the men getting ready, Julie was surprised by a beautiful note and gift from Erik.  It was a wonderful moment of joyful tears that had me even choked up. Julie was so excited about how their first look was going to go and we made sure it was private and memorable. She had planned this moment for months. The two of them holding hands on either side of a doorway but they couldn’t see each other until the moment was perfect. The tension was apparent and excitement filled the room as they turned around and saw each other for the first time. It was even more magical then she planned as Julie and Erik kissed and hugged and cried .  I love those raw moments. The ceremony was set for late afternoon and  Julie wasn’t going to let a little cold air stop her wedding from being outdoors, so underneath a gazebo, they said their vows officiated by Mitch the Minister.  Everyone laughed and cried until they were pronounced husband and wife. It was a personal and touching ceremony. The reception was a huge success and family and friends danced and partied as they celebrated the newly married couple. Touching speeches, laughing children, happy families.  It couldn’t have gone more perfect and we were so thrilled to be there to document the day.  Enjoy!
